About the Team

Rachel Berdan, Principal

Founder whisperer. People-Centred Sustainable Growth Coach. Equal parts grit & compassion.

Rachel facilitates transformation at systems, organizational, team, and individual levels.  Rachel is an active community collaborator who has worked across sectors and sizes of organizations as an intrepreneur, in formal leadership roles, and now as a coach and consultant. Rachel’s personal and professional growth have been rooted in self-reflection, enquiry, and compassion in order to get grounded with herself so that she can keep showing up where her energy is best directed. Throughout her career, Rachel has focused on building and nurturing relationships, the power of collective action, and the potential of approaching necessary change while grounded in sustainability and justice. Rachel employs her strengths in facilitation, coaching, storytelling, and organizational clarity to meet leaders and their teams where they are so they can get clear on their direction, use their authentic voices, and grow sustainably while holding their most important relationships with care.

Rachel holds an MA in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University. Rachel believes that leadership is a verb—not a noun and not a title—and continues to engage in reflective practice in her work and personal growth, focusing on collective liberation, decolonization, power, and relational ways of being.

Falkor, Dog

Wellness Manager. Good boy.

Falkor is a valued member of the consulting team. When he is not supervising coaching calls or encouraging healthy breaks, he can be found napping comfortably alongside his other human.

Falkor has a deep capacity for emotional support and exceptional comedic timing. He is excellent at modelling how to communicate expectations clearly, how to effectively say “no” without worrying what others will think, and the importance of taking in all of the important details of a journey over racing toward a destination.

Falkor is a joyful ambassador for walkies and believes in a hard stop at 5 PM (4 after the fall time change) so he can be nourished.
